Bree Gray PharmD, RPh
Compounding Pharmacist

He was born and raised in Cheyenne, WY and is a second-generation Wyomingite. He attended Cheyenne Central High School, Laramie County Community College, and the University of Wyoming where he graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. During his off time, he enjoys being outdoors fishing, shooting, archery, and tinkering in his shop.

Richard has had the privilege of being able to work for most of his professional career in independent pharmacies with an emphasis on having compounding available to his patients. He obtained a Certification in Geriatrics and is a Board-Certified Fellow in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine. He was a pharmacy consultant for various skilled nursing facilities throughout the state for over 20 years. He is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding and American College of Veterinary Pharmacists.

His current philosophy of assisting and educating patients revolves around improving health through better nutrition, lifestyle changes, use of specific herbal and nutritional strategies to improve disease management and maintain health.  Richard also emphasizes a logical use of hormone supplementation in patients with hormone insufficiency.  Hormone supplementation is part of improved aging, but should not be considered the "Holy Grail" of aging.  It all starts with a good, healthy diet, adequate exercise, consuming alcohol in moderation, avoiding the use of tobacco products, making lifestyle modifications to reduce stress, along with trying your best to schedule in plenty of rest!  The use of herbal and nutritional supplements and decreasing sugar consumption also play a role in this multi-factorial approach to anti-aging.

She was born and raised in Casper, WY.  She attended Natrona County High School where she graduated with honors.  Then, she went on to Casper College where she obtained her Associates of Science in Pre-Pharmacy.  This led her to the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy where she graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012. She has worked as Richard's apprentice ever since.

Compounding is almost the “dinosaur” of pharmacy practice.  It’s a lost art that we want to bring back.  Not only is it vital to patients of all walks of life, but it’s unique and offers our patients exactly what they need.  Not everyone can be molded (nor should be forced into being molded) into the perfect patient that commercially available drug products are marketed for.  We know this and are here to help!  Building relationships with veterinarians and being able to compound specific medications for our animal friends is very rewarding!  Being able to treat pediatric patients with life altering medical conditions and locally provide medications specific to their needs is worth every second!  Helping relieve the stress on parents as well as improve these children’s qualities of life is more heartwarming than words can describe.  Learning about hormone replacement and anti-aging medicine is also an interest of Bree’s.  She has been taken under Richard’s wing to learn all the ins and outs of how to treat both men and women as we age and our hormones change – again, all to improve our qualities of life!

Along with being a compounding pharmacist, Bree works as a clinical pharmacist at Wyoming Medical Center, specializing in Emergency Medicine.  Bree enjoys teaching and mentoring students.  She spent a couple of years teaching third year pharmacy students sterile compounding at the UW School of Pharmacy.  To this day, she takes on students from various pharmacy schools and enjoys instilling her love for pharmacy and the impact we can have on patients’ qualities of life. In her limited spare time, Bree enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible, running outdoors, and attending church.
